Founder & Managing Director
Richard Abson
Richard started in recruitment after finishing college, relocating to the South East to work with one of the UK’s leading IT recruitment consultancies. Moving back to the North West, he went on to work with a large group specialising in IT and technical recruitment for the Formula 1 sector. He joined the automotive industry in 2004 with a regional office for a national firm specialising in automotive recruitment, and in 2009 set up The Automotive Recruiters – now Richard Abson Group.

Jake Jones
Jake’s career in recruitment began at the back end of 2014 as an apprentice resourcer. Having completed his apprenticeship he then progressed into being a recruitment consultant. He joined Richard Abson Group to specifically work within the fantastic automotive industry, which he has loved since day one – having worked with some of their clients previously. Jake loves working with such outstanding brands and has a great passion for the motor trade.
