Richard Abson Group is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Used Car Sales Manager on behalf of a successful, well-established dealership based on the Wirral.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious automotive leader to take charge of a successful used car operation, managing a team of five Sales Executives and driving performance in a busy retail environment.
The Role
As Used Car Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of 5 Sales Executives.
- Driving the team to achieve a target of 50 used vehicle sales per month.
- Coaching and supporting your team to maximise performance and profitability.
- Managing the daily operation of the used car sales department.
- Monitoring KPIs and ensuring an outstanding customer experience throughout the sales journey.
- Working closely with senior management to deliver business objectives.
The Package
- £40,000 – £45,000 Basic Salary
- £65,000+ Uncapped OTE
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
- Every other Saturday off
- Every Sunday off

The Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Sales Manager, Used Car Sales Manager, or experienced Transaction Manager within a franchised dealership.
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire a team.
- A hands-on management style and a passion for delivering results.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A full UK driving licence.
